As U.S. forces attempt to win the peace in Iraq, FRONTLINE/World travels to another
corner of the world -- the Philippines -- where the United States is being drawn into a long-running civil war between Islamic separatists and U.S.-trained Philippine
soldiers.
Airing Thursday, June 5, at 9 p.m. on PBS (check local listings), "Islands Under Siege" explores the island of Mindanao, to meet the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF), 12,000 strong rebel group fighting for an Islamic state.
Reporter Orlando Guzman will be online Friday, June 6, at 11 a.m. ET, to talk about the film and what he learned on Mindanao. Submit your questions and comments before or during the discussion.
