Confronting Iraq:
"Virtual March" on Washington

With David Cortright
Organizer, "Win Without War"

Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2003; 2 p.m. ET

"Win Without War," a coalition of organizations opposed to pre-emptive war with Iraq, will sponsor a "Virtual March" On Washington, Wednesday, Feb. 26, beginning at 9 a.m. ET. Organizers say they have signed up thousands of Americans to participate in the antiwar protest by e-mailing, phoning and faxing messages of concern about a possible war with Iraq to their elected officials in the Senate and the White House. The first-ever virtual protest follows on the heels of the worldwide antiwar protests of Feb. 15.

David Cortright, president of the Fourth Freedom Forum and organizer of the "Win Without War" coalition, will be online Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 2 p.m. ET, to discuss the march and the message.
