Saturn, the planet of problems and stress, has redirected on February 22nd after traveling retrograde since October. When a planet is retrograde, it means that it appears to be traveling backward in the sky from the vantage point of the earth. Of course, it does not actually backtrack; it only appears to because of the earths elliptical orbit. Retrograde planets create stressful energy. Expect a redirection and purposeful surge in effort wherever Saturn sits in your personal chart. So where DOES Saturn sit in your chart??

I was born Oct. 11, 1976, in Houston, Tex., at 2:27 a.m. the local time. I am wondering if the life/career choices my husband and I have made within the past year are going to work out, and anything else you can tell me.
Charlene Lichtenstein: You have sun in libra, moon in Taurus, mercury in libra and venus and mars in scorpio. You are generally a sunny and friendly person, a balanced thinker, diplomatic communicator with a pretty passionate side to you when you are in love (venus) or decide to take action (mars).
Possibly leo rising which would place Taurus on the cusp of your 10th house of career. If I were to run your chart on the computer, the cusps could be different. Should Gemini (the sign after Taurus) be on your 10th, we would be looking at an entirely different picture. With Taurus on your 10th, you would do best with a career that provides you with a bit of structure, that pays well and affords you your comforts, that may require hands-on application and where you can feel that you are building something. You like to work with others and would be considered a fair, loyal and diligent co-worker. Steady and solid. With Taurus on the 10th, you might have had a couple of years of job stress (apx 1999 through 2001) as Saturn passed over the top of your chart working hard and feeling a bit less confident. This should be past. Now you can capitalize on all your hard work and get ahead. Now Saturn is in Gemini and may be impacting friendships and social groups for you.

I meet a man via an Internet dating service. We e-mailed a couple of weeks and then have been talking on the phone and e-mail. We have also exchanged pictures. The conversations have been very good and enjoyable. He suggested and I agreed to meet in person. He's in Georgia and we're planing to meet in about 3 weeks in a state between here and there. Will the relationship become serious, am I wasting my time? I want a serious relationship and marriage. Could this be it.
Charlene Lichtenstein: It would help if you could get me his birth information so I can see how your planets compare to his. What sign is his venus (how he expresses love) what sign is his moon (his emotional framework) and what sign is on the cusp of his 7th house of marriage (what he looks for in a partner).
As far as you personally are concerned, you have sun in virgo, moon in gemini and venus in libra. You are solid and trustworthy in general but when you are in love you are flirtatious, charming and attracted to physically attractive men. You strive for balance in love and will do everything you can to achieve harmony. Emotionally you are a thinker and communicator. You say your feelings and can conceptualize them. It may make you appear less emotional but very charming!

Charlene Lichtenstein: Aries/Scorpio is not a good union? Nonsense! You have to look at the entire chart.
You have sun (general personality) in aries, moon (how you express emotions) in scorpio and venus (how you express love) in pisces. You have a robust personality but are very deep and passionate emotionally (which he connects to) and are terribly romantic and spiritual in love (another great connection to your husband.
He has sun in scorpio, moon in libra and venus in Capricorn. He is generally very intense and passionate and emotionally connects well to you with his cheerful libra moon. He may feel less confident in love and need a great deal of reassurance which your pisces venus loves to give.
A good match here!
I would chalkk up the stress to the Saturn Return. Your husband is in the middle of his and will be finished when he turns 30. You are into the beginning of yours. Charlene Lichtenstein: Well, you have sun in pisces, moon in taurus, mercury and venus in pisces and mars in cap. Possibly Libra rising.
Generally you appear to be very charming and charismatic - good for both love and politics! You have a strong emotional constitution and can be very intuitive and spiritual. In love you are a true romantic and may overlook partners flaws and idealize them.
So love - the sun will be entering your 7th hosueof relationships on March 22 indicating hope and opportunity to create a partnership. This is the time to look! Also , venus the planet of charisma is entering your 5th hoseu of fun and romance on March 3 making you even more alluring. You ahve all the right planets in the right place but you can't phone it in - you have to get out there and get it.
Career-wise you have cancer on the top of your chart. A bit emotional for politics but you will make people feel at home. ANd with all that pisces in your chart, you may just find the spiritual door to peoples hearts and minds. Saturn will be entering cancer in June 03 for about 3 years making career a more stressful and harder working time for you. My advice - don't put it off. Try to set the course now and expect more challenges later once you set in some roots.

This past year has been tough personally, although at work, busy but pretty good. Can you tell if things might be easing up soon? Your past comments have always been so on the mark.

I understand that Saturn emerged from retrograde this weekend. I've heard that should lift some of the heaviness around us all. Can you elaborate on the influence of this Saturn transit in general?
I intend this as a general question, but if you need it, my birth info is Aug. 24, 1964, 9:11 am, Bethesda, Md. I have Libra rising.
Charlene Lichtenstein: Saturn is the planet of problems, delays, pessimism and hard work. But it also represents rewards for hard work and experience gained. So it is a mixed bag.
Saturn has been retrograde - it comes and goes that way because of the earth eliptic). Retrograde planets magnify the harsher aspects of the planet so if Saturn retro has been hitting your cahrt in a particularly sensitive place, you will really feel it. Ouch!
So yes, the heaviness will be lifted somewhat but we cannot rest on our laurels. Saturn keeps putting on the pressure, though now we may feel that we can better handle it.

For everyone else - this is a relocation chart for someone thinking of moving to Vermont on the Lake.
You birth chart and your relocated chart have a few differences - in your birht chart you have scorpio rising showing a more intense and serious appearance. In Vermont you have jolly sag as a rising sign so I see you as far more relaxed, expansive and approachable.
You have pluto in your 9th house in your natal chart and it is in your 8th house in Vermont. Transforming changes through travel for most of your life but in VT, you will transform psychologically. Maybe you will even have a dramatic and volcanic sexual relationship. Things bubble to the surface.
Moon in your 4th in VT from the 5th natally. You will feel more emotionally connected at home and with relatives. Same since venus moves into your spiritual 12th house in VT - a beautiful and spiritual feeling!
More settled, more at peace, possible intimacy. How is that!

Charlene Lichtenstein: Hmm. You have sun in sag and moon in aries. Possibly aries rising which would place psychic pisces on the cusp of your 12th house of intuition. If I were to run your chart, your aries moon could be in the 12th or first house. Moon in the 12th is an indication of psychic abilities as is moon in the 8th.
You know, I never discount ones feelings. While I cannot give you any specific guidance as to how to take action here, I would suggest that you take a class to more fully develop these abilites. Astrologically I think you have them.

Hello there! I'm December 18, 1972 from Geneva, Ill., 8:20am.
My world has changed a "lot" in the last two weeks! My offer on a condo was accepted (under budget!), I go to settlement March 24th. Everything just fell into place. Amazing how things seem to work out, eh?
Additionally, my neighbor, once considered a brother-like figure, (birthdate is Jan. 17 1967, somewhere in Boston, time unknown) made it quite clear during last week's snow storm that he did not view me in a brotherly way. I wonder if this is the world's way of presenting me with someone that I can't possibly put up on a pedestal and thereby set myself up for disappointment in reality. After all, it's one thing to dream of castles in the sky, it's another thing altogether to try and build one, and I think that's the life lesson I've learned this last year. I admit I'm intrigued. I'm wondering if you have any insight to this new circumstance.
As an aside, I've dated a neighbor before and found life after the breakup horrible. Good thing I'm moving in a month, no?

Charlene Lichtenstein: Well I am not surprised! You have just finished your Saturn Return which is a three year period from apx ages 27-30 where we may feel stuck, stressed, yearning for change. After we turn 30, we can see things falling into place!
You have sun in sag, moon in taurus and venus in scorpio. You are generally very expansive and sunny with a strong emotioanl constitution and a passionate love nature. Can be jealous and possessive which is surprising to those who just see you as a sunny sag.
He has sun in cap, moon in aries and venus in aquarius.He may be generally less confident and serious but he has a robust emotional nature and you two understand each other that way. His love nature is well aspected to your general personality and your love nature well aspects his personality. SO there is a great deal of connection between the two of you. He has to remember not to make you jealous and at the same time, give you space to be a bit independent.
You have to remember that he can be aloof and distant and that doesn't mean that he doesn't care deeply for you.

Charlene Lichtenstein: Your Saturn is in Aries and you may possibly have Gemini rising which would mean that your natal Saturn would be in your 11th house of friends and social groups. ALso your mission in life.
But right now Saturn is in Gemini and is transiting your first hosue of new beginnings. I would say that if you have been diligent in making changes and preparing for changes in your job situation, when Saturn redirects, you should see some payoff. Also, the sun is currently transiting the top of your chart which will happily impact yoru career goals. This should be a time of opportunity - you need to seek it but it is there for the picking.
It is always best to run the chart on the computer to get the exact placements but this is how I see them through my quick charts for the show.

Charlene Lichtenstein: Well lets wee - you have sun in gemini, mercury in gemini, mars in taurus. You are quick and witty and very intelligent. While you may have a tendency to scatter your attention, your solid mars in taurus brings you back to earth and enables you to build on your knowledge.
Possibly leo rising which places taurus on the top of your chart - a solid and steady career placement. The government (The Law) is represented by the 9th house and the sun is moving into that sector for you in mid-March indicating a pretty good time of it for you for a couple of months. Then it moves into your career house for another month so I see a few months of optimism and career opportunity.
Add to that direct Jupiter in your first and you can see expansion in new directions for the next couple of years. (It may also mean physical expansion so watch those calories...).
