Lichtenstein's skills run in the family. Her great aunt, Etta Weimar, was the famous Romanian card reader to both kings and queens. A native of New York City, Lichtenstein was educated in Europe where she pursued the study of tarot and astrology. She returned to New York in 1974 and has lived in Greenwich Village ever since, dispensing advice whether requested or not.
Lichtenstein's monthly and weekly astrology columns are carried in newspapers across the country. As reported in Potentials Magazine in September 2002, as we continue in an era on uncertainty, more people are seeking a greater connection at work through spiritual work groups. A study last spring indicated that 55% of those polled consider spirituality to play a significant role in their workplace and 34% of that number said that role has increased since Sept 11, 2001. Many Fortune 500 firms are examining more ways of expanding spirituality in the workplace, including meditation, yoga and aromatheraputics. Next step, astrology? Who knows….

Charlene Lichtenstein: You have sun in aquarius, venus in pisces and leo rising. Your chart has a great deal of energy in it – many square, sextile and trine aspects which give you a push me/pull you direction. Basically you are very idealistic and humanistic, fighting for great causes and embracing humanity. Yet, with your romantic venus in pisces, you are also in love with love and looooove to be in a relationship. You may tend to romaticize partners and gloss over their weaknesses. Your Venus in Pisces is sitting in your 7th house of relationships as is Saturn – the planet of delays and where we feel less confident. Your sun is making an excellent aspect to your moon which means that the overall direction of your life makes you emotionally satisfied, especially in your career. In fact, that may be how you meet your soulmate. Your Saturn squares your midheaven so you may have a tendency to put career first which can put a crimp in a relationship. It looks to me that his sun, mercury and moon are all in your 7th house of relationships which is very good - his general personality (sun), the way the thinks and communicates (mercury) and his (emotions)are stirring up your relationship sector.
In addition, his sun is well matched to yours as are both your moons. This shows a great synergy. ALso, your two venuses are well meshed. He may have trouble expressing his love and may need great amounts of confidence building in that area before he takes a leap. But he can trust you, as you are very trustworthy.
Any snags? Not really. Youtend to take action on an emotonal level and he strives for balance and harmony so even though your mars signs are not totally in sync, there is a good understanding there.

Madame Licktenstein -- I'm sure you recall that wonderful song, Aquarius; are we still living in the "Age of Aquarius"? If so, for how much longer -- if not, what AGE are we living in now and what does that mean for us as a group?
Charlene Lichtenstein: This is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius?
Not yet.... we are still in the Piscean Age but we are expecting to reach the Aquarian Age in apx 2025.
As a group, the Piscean Age is marked by Christianity - the signs of the fish are also assoicated with Christianity. Basically since these epochs are thousands of years in the making, most of us are not directly impacted on a day to day about it.

Charlene Lichtenstein: okay - you have sun in scorpio, venus (planet of love) in libra and possibly sag rising which places gemini on the cusp of your 7th house of relationships. Youare generally an intense and passionate person who strives for beauty and harmony in love. You may gravitate to relationships where there is more of a meeting of the minds or to someone who is first a friend and then a lover.
He has sun in Taurus, moon in scorpio and venus in gemini. It may be that his planet of love, venus, is sitting in your 7th house of partnerships - very good! There is a love connection here.
Also, his sun and moon are well aspected to yours and both of your venuses are in sync. He may like a mental connection in his relationships - be prepared to be witty and charming and flirtatious. Yet with that earthy taurus sun, he can also be sensual enough for a sun sign scorpio.

I think a little mistake was made last week in answering my question. It was written twice. My question is about me getting a job soon, moving to a new place and getting a new man in my life! So let's see - you have sun in pisces, moon in sag, mercury in pisces, venus in aquarius, mars in pisces and possibly gemini rising. You are generally very intuitive and spiritual with a true romantic and creative sense. You communicate in a very spiritual manner and take action in a very caring way. Can be a bit foggy and otherworldly in your speech too. In love however you are not as romantic as one might assume with all that other pisces energy in your chart. In fact you may even be considered a bit aloof.
Coming up in January - mars is currently in your 6th hosue of work so if you pour on the effort now, you should see some results. It moves on the 18th so do not delay. In February as the sun moves from aquarius into pisces, you may find more opportunities opening up on yoru career path - optimism hope and opportunity. You will then have one month to make your move before your oppotunities move to the more social arena.
My advice, plant the seeds now and see some growth in mid-Feb.

10-21-66/11:18am - sag rising i know. Anyway, I love your show but have trouble getting through. I have had the worst time over the last year and it doesn't seem to be getting any better. Family health problems seem to be adding more stress to work and relationship issues. Any hope?

You have sun in libra, mercury in scorpio, venus in libra and mars in virgo. You say sag rising - that helps, thanks.
Generally you are charming and diplomatic. You strive for balance and may compromise to keep the peace. You are a strategic and powerful thinker and communicator who is a hard and persevering worker. In love you are attracted to physically attractive people and are very romantic and flirtatious.
With sag rising you have powerful and transforming pluto transiting your ascendant. Expect continuing changes and a shifting of the landscape. Pluto brings change where change is needed but where we may feel afraid to change. Out with the old, in witht he new!
But do not despair - mars and venus are making their way into your first house of new beginnings this January and you will have the ability to handle anything that life gives you. I am new to this forum, so you have probably already addressed some of these questions. How do you tune into things? Do you see symbols or people, or feel energies? When did you know when you had this gift? Also, is this a gift that can be honed, if so it seems like law enforcement, the military, etc. would want folk like yourself to help them. I do know from experience that some people do have psychic/spiritual gifts, so I am not trying to be sarcastic. Thanks for any illumimation.
Charlene Lichtenstein: The secret is out - I have no psychic abilities. Astrology is not for psychic per sey. I think that is another area entirely. Astrology is the science of reading the movements of the planets. It is more geometry, in my opinion.
Anyone who puts the effort into studying astrology can become a good astrologer. I don't feel energies but I can see energies in a chart that give me clues to what is going on with the person. But it is there right in the chart that anyone with the knowledge can read.

He has sun in sag, venus in capricorn and possibly cancer rising. He is sunny, honest and friendly and may be afraid of expressing his love for fear of rejection.
You have sun in cancer, moon in scorpio and venus in gemini. Possibly cancer rising. You are generally very sensitive and caring with deep intense emotional periods. Yet when you are in lov eyou can be rather platonic and flirtatious. You need a meeting of the minds in love or there is no spark.

You are generally very sensitive and intuitive with a spiritual way of communicating. In love you can be somewhat detached as you think of more global ideas - you love mankind in general. You are an unorthodox fighter and can see the unique sides of an argument to make your point.
Right now the sun is transiting your job sector indicating opportunities and optimism. The sun moves into your relationship sector on Jan 21. Meanwhile communication about the job may have some misunderstanding as mercury retrogrades through Jan 23. If you are sending out resumes, double check to see that they have arrived - retro mercury screws up the mail, the phone and just about all aspects of ciommunication. In fact, if you can plan to interview after mercury goes direct, that would be great.

You have sun, moon and mars in cap and venus in aquarius. Possibly Libra rising. You are a very directioned and strategic person! All that cap energy makes you very cognizant of the values of others and success in life. You might have found your beginnings difficult but since you learn from experience, things might have gotten easier as you went along.
Saturn, the planet of challenges (and your ruling planet too...) has been retrograde and willbe going direct on Feb 22. I see breakthroughs not only when saturn redirects but also as it moves over the top of your chart. That is, if you have been putting in the hard effort to create a new career path for yourself. (Which I bet you have!). 2003 will be a year of growth, advancement and opportunity - as long as you keep plugging at it.
Your man has sun in virgo and venus in libra. He can be flirtatious but since your venuses are in sync (as are all your cap planets with his sun) I would say there is a great connection here that can withstand distance. But keep his interest piqued with love notes!
